User Preferences

Modify user preferences by selecting the user icon area in the upper right of each page - (your email address)

Purchasing Categories

Available purchasing categorization systems are NIGP (National Institute of Governmental Purchasers) and BEA (Bureau of Economic Analysis) are product classification systems. You may modify this in the user preferences area. New scenarios will generate proposed purchasing lists based on your category preference.

Working with the NIGP Codes

NIGP codes are given at an aggregated 3-digit level. Current crosswalks enable us to map approximately 170 of the 260 NIGP sectors. If you find that a sector is not represented in PIE, please select the nearest match.
